Youth festival is a inter university cultural festival organized every year by SANT GADGE BABA AMRAVATI UNIVERSITY, AMRAVATI at university level to give the student an opportunity to showcase their talent and to take the deserving candidate to the next higher level. Youth festival was organized by Sant Gadge Baba University, Amravati along with शि. प्र. मं. चे. स्व. तात्यासाहेब महाजन कला व वाणिज्य महाविद्यालय, चिखली, जि. बुलढाणा from 27/09/16 to 31/09/16. The festival included around 22 different events including folk dance, classical dance, theater acts as drama, skit, mime, Indian singing and western singing, classical singing, quiz, debate, mimicry, and fine arts like on the spot painting, collage, poster making, clay modeling, cartooning and clay modeling, etc. P .R. Pote (Patil) College of Engineering & Management participated in the festival Third time with team of 18 students. They were selected amongst the interested students from auditions from each event and they participated in all the events. The complete team was of 18 students, 2 faculty members & 6 accompanists. The drama “Artificial Intelligence” was appreciated by the judges. That four day long youth festival was a learning experience for the students of the institute. They got benefitted on many fronts of personality development. Also they got incentive marks from the university for their participation. It was indeed a very successful, joyful and learning experience in the end.
